CPA: “Wait, this all sounds too good to be true. Hiring at $9/hour, savings in labor cost, easy recruitment, dedicated staff, flexible hiring, experienced and qualified staff, everything is ok, What about data security? How can I rely on someone who is working from thousands of miles away?”
RONALD SMITH: “I agree data security and confidentiality is usually the #1 concern of every CPA I speak with. Let me tell you something, we are completely paperless - no pen, paper or printers, we have disabled USB drives in all our computers, no external devices can be connected, staff can’t access external websites, personal emails or social media, upload and download of data is restricted, multi-factor authentication is in place.”
CPA: “But can’t they copy on their local computers, or just copy on a piece of paper? My data is going to travel from here to India and then back to the US.”

RONALD SMITH: “Well let me tell you, we are a US company and we provide you our contract of protecting your data, privacy & confidentiality in writing. So in case if that happens you have stronger recourse against us (although this has never happened in the history of 8 years of our business)”.
CPA: “But I still run a risk of data breach or confidentiality breach?
RONALD SMITH: “Theoretically Yes, however, your risk needs to be measured in relative terms i.e. Offshore staffing is a cost effective and easy solution to local staffing challenges, so now you need to analyze is offshore staffing increasing risk? Let’s see through below comparison
