Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated EBP (Employee Benefit Plan) Audit Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in auditing Employee Benefit Plans, demonstrating a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive audit plans for Employee Benefit Plans, considering risk assessments and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and execute audits in accordance with established audit methodologies and standards.
- Ensure timely completion of audit engagements while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Client Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients undergoing EBP audits.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and addressing client needs.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of changes in regulations and accounting standards related to Employee Benefit Plans.
- Ensure that audits are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise, mentor, and guide audit team members to foster professional development.
- Provide technical expertise and support to team members during audits.
- Financial Reporting:
- Review and analyze financial statements and related disclosures for accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards in audit services.
- Conduct internal reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in auditing, with a focus on EBP audits.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
