Sr.Associate (US Tax/Accounting/Audit IN)

Job Description:

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Assist in developing tax-efficient strategies and solutions for clients to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and maximizing tax benefits for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely delivery of tax services.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Plan and execute audits for NPOs, EBPs, and financial audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain audit documentation, documenting findings, issues, and recommendations for clients and internal use.
  • Perform risk assessments, develop audit plans, and evaluate internal controls, providing improvement recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • CA Inter/ Semi-Qualified CA/ CA qualification is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
