Job Description:
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Assist in developing tax-efficient strategies and solutions for clients to minimize tax liabilities.
- Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and maximizing tax benefits for clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely delivery of tax services.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Plan and execute audits for NPOs, EBPs, and financial audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Prepare and maintain audit documentation, documenting findings, issues, and recommendations for clients and internal use.
- Perform risk assessments, develop audit plans, and evaluate internal controls, providing improvement recommendations.
Qualifications:
- CA Inter/ Semi-Qualified CA/ CA qualification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
